w   Subway

Take the A-train to the 190th Street Station. The subway entrance is on Fort Washington Avenue, one block north of the 190th Street intersection and our building. Take the elevator up to street-level.
In Winter 2001, the MTA installed Arts for Transit posters in the elevators, replacing the neighborhood photographs.

w   Buses

Both the M4 and the Limited M98 buses travel north-south on Fort Washington Avenue and stop near our corner at 190th Street. The M4 is called the Fifth and Madison Avenues-Broadway bus; the M98 is the Washington Heights-Midtown Limited.

The M4 operates daily between 32 Street-Seventh Avenue (Penn Station) and 193 Street-Fort Washington Avenue, approximately between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. in ten-minute intervals (longer on the weekends). The bus runs on north into Fort Tryon Park to the Cloisters Museum during museum hours.

Limited-stop schedule (approximate): in addition to the regular buses, on weekdays there are nine southbound express buses that leave Corbin Plaza between 6:55 and 8:10 a.m., arriving at Penn Station 75-90 minutes later. Five northbound limited buses leave Penn Station between 4:23 and 5:10 p.m., ETA at Corbin Plaza about 90 minutes later.

The M98 runs limited-stop service, during weekday rush hour only, between 193 Street-Fort Washington Avenue and 34 Street-Lexington Avenue in 15-30 minute intervals.

Approximate schedule: Southbound buses leave Corbin Plaza between 6:00-9:30am and then again between 4:00-6:00 p.m., arriving at 34th and Lex about 70 minutes later. Northbound buses leave 33 St.-Third Avenue between 7:10-10:40 a.m. and again between 3:45-7:20 p.m., ETA Corbin Plaza 60 minutes later.
